The making of it
The plainest clay we make, and the one to start with. Kaolin from Provence — same family as our rose clay, without the rose. Silky, almost powdery in the hand. It leaves skin feeling swept rather than scrubbed.
Melt and pour, which means there is no cure and nothing waits on a rack. The base goes to 60°C — hotter and the glycerin scorches — the actives are stirred in off the heat so they survive it, and it sets in three or four hours. Made this week, sold this week.

How to use it
- 01Lather in wet hands or on a cloth.
- 02Work over the body, rinse.
- 03Keep it on a draining dish. A bar left in water dies young.
- 04Between uses, let it dry fully — glycerin draws water, so a wet bar stays wet.
